Divorce and Relationship Breakdown

If your relationship has broken down and you are facing a separation or divorce, you may be feeling anxious, angry and confused.

We will help you deal with these feelings while also ensuring that you get the best outcome to secure a better future for you, and your family.

If you are worried about going through the courts, or the destructive impact of conflict, we may be able to help you reach an amicable resolution. Wherever possible, we adopt a constructive and conciliatory approach to the problems arising from a relationship breakdown. For example, we will try to agree the contents of your divorce petition before it is filed at court. It is not always possible to reach an amicable agreement but we have the experience to guide you. If you need to go court, we will fight tirelessly to achieve the result that you are looking for.

We will give you practical advice and support. In addition, we will guide you through every aspect of the process. We will address your concerns and bring about an appropriate resolution. We will explain the process clearly and keep you informed about what is happening at each stage.

If your divorce is amicable, you may be able to benefit from our fixed fee option.

Separation

If you are not yet ready to consider a divorce for either financial, emotional or religious reasons but are looking to separate, we can help to advise and prepare a separation agreement. This will cover issues such as how to manage your finances and who the children should live with.

As an alternative, a Judicial Separation may be more suitable for you. It is similar to a divorce in that you have to apply to a court but it does not end the marriage. This option also allows you to apply for financial support and gives you time to go over your options
